ALBEMARLE, N.C. – Tillery Compassionate Care, a nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider serving Stanly & Montgomery counties and surrounding communities, has once again been recognized with the prestigious Hospice Honors Elite Award from MatrixCare, placing the organization among the nation’s top-performing hospice providers for exceptional patient and family satisfaction.

The annual Hospice Honors Elite award recognizes hospice organizations that demonstrate excellence in delivering quality end-of-life care, as measured by caregiver feedback through the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Hospice Survey. The survey captures families’ experiences and perspectives regarding the care their loved ones receive.

The Hospice Honors Elite distinction is awarded to hospice organizations that score above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on all evaluated CAHPS Hospice Survey measures. Hospices achieving superior results across these rigorous quality benchmarks earn Hospice Honors Elite recognition, reflecting an unwavering commitment to excellence in patient and family care.

Hospice CAHPS Honors was awarded to hospices that scored above the MatrixCare National Score on at least 17 of the evaluated questions. MatrixCare holds a special recognition, Hospice Honors Elite, to honor hospices scoring above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on one hundred percent, or all twenty-two, of the evaluated questions
