Hospice Aides
We are hiring full-time, part-time, and PRN (as needed) Hospice Aides to provide excellent, professional personal care to seriously ill patients. Hospice aide services augment care given by caregivers in a patient’s residence. The hospice aide functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Hospice Aides must document visit and tasks completion within electronic medical record and communicate patients’ current health status and needs to the RN. Candidates must be a Certified Nursing Assistant I or II; must have reliable transportation to and from work assignments. Full-time Bereavement Counselor
Full-time Bereavement Counselor
Tillery Compassionate Care is the area’s only non-profit hospice organization. We are committed to excellence, compassion and dignity for our patients, families, and team members alike. We are hiring a Full-time Bereavement Counselor to co-lead our robust bereavement program. The ideal candidate will possess a master’s in social work, counseling, or a related field. Must have experience in providing counseling and/or grief counseling services to children, adolescents and adults.
Primary responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling for bereaved clients, coordinating and supervising the bereavement program for the families of hospice patients and community bereavement clients, coordinating bereavement events and community grief education, functioning as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team and providing a supportive atmosphere in which bereaved persons are encouraged to share their experiences of loss as they journey through the grieving process.
